Foo-fighting McCain

The Foo-Fighters are one of the most talented bands in the world today. They always keep their sound fresh and different. The Foo-Fighters don't get left in the past like many other bands that have risen to the top and tumbled down like the stock market. And speaking of a horrid economic situation getting worse... John McCain, who does not stand much of a chance of winning the 2008 election (according to every online poll and the Wall Street Journal), has been using songs to depict images during his campaign. One band that McCain is using a song from is The Foo-Fighters. McCain is using the song "My Hero", in a way that suggests McCain is a hero. Frontman, Dave Grohl, of The Foo-Fighters said "My Hero" is supposed to be about average individuals that use their potential to rise to the top. McCain is not properly using the song and has not been given permission by The Foo-Fighters to use the song. Grohl goes on to mention "It tarnishes the song" because McCain is not using it properly. TheFoo-Fighters have suggested that John McCain stop using "My Hero" during the campaign. Other bands have also made the same request and Jackson Browne is even filing a lawsuit against McCain.
