Be somebody

Today, it is more important than ever to be somebody. What does this mean? It means that you need to exceed expectations. Employers are going to be looking for individuals with upper level degrees, not high school diplomas. There is so much pressure looming over the individuals who have not lost jobs yet. People fear that they may be fired at any second. The businesses that planted their roots deep into the capitalist foundations of America began to find themselves being uprooted. Powerful financial institutions began to crumble. Jobs began to disappear. As the economy leveled off at an all time low many companies found themselves struggling. Automotive giants GM and Chrysler had to be bailed out several times and have now filed for bankruptcy. Other companies struggling to do well are Starbucks, Rite Aid Pharmacy, The New York Times and Sirius Satellite Radio. Due to the fall of many companies in America, the job market is very difficult to approach. Most companies are only hiring internally. Several businesses have cut off benefits for retirees, such as 401k, long term and short term life insurance and health insurance benefits. A lot of companies have lowered wage increase percentages and cut down on overtime. Anybody that currently has a job should be considered lucky. There are no new jobs being created and many jobs in the U.S. are being outsourced in order to save money. What does this mean for individuals who are new to the workforce? This means that you had better be overqualified, for even the easiest of jobs. How can you over qualify yourself? It is important to get higher learning. Go to college and do well. Get the highest level of degree or certification that you can. Employers are no longer looking to hire someone with a high school diploma or an associates degree. An associates degree has become the equivalent of a high school diploma in modern times. Go to school and be somebody. Get an upper level degree and get a job. Unfortunately, our difficult economic times have caused a shift in education and careers.

Its such as you read my thoughts!
You appear to grasp a lot approximately this,
like you wrote the e-book in it or something.
I feel that you could do with
a few p.c. to drive the message house a bit, but other than that, that is excellent blog.

An excellent read. I will definitely be back.

I have been surfing online greater than 3 hours nowadays,
yet I by no means discovered any interesting article like yours.
It's pretty worth enough for
me. Personally,
if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the net will be much
more useful than ever before.
